Yesterday she got me up.
Today she put me back down.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring,
but I can't wait until she comes around.
She's like nothing before her.
She won't be like anyone again.
I cannot sleep, I think of her all night long.
And I will until the bloody end.
She's so sorry
about things we said today.
But if I really need her,
then I must accept the love that she makes.
She blindfolds me with laughter and allusions.
She brings my hopes up so high.
She promises the earth to me and I believe her.
But after all this time I don't know why.
She's said she's sorry
when things have gone astray.
But if I want to love her
then I must accept the love that she makes.
She says, "Kisses are not contracts.
Hugs don't mean 'I love you.'
Just because you're making love to me
